With their rings they showed the arches of the celestial sphere, becoming a symbol of prestige and knowledge. The sundial that marks the true solar time is created by plotting the hours with a ten-minute step on the equatorial arc. On which, during the day, the shadow of the polar axis of the sphere flows, indicating the hours.
